Salary from ?27,854 to ?38,522 a year
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on a project to understand the molecular mechanisms by which haploinsufficency of the transcription factor MYBL2 leads to the development of blood disorders during ageing, especially through effects on DNA damage leading to the accumulation of mutations. This project, which is funded by the MRC, will be led by Dr Paloma Garc?a and will involve a combination of molecular and cellular approaches using mouse and human models.
Candidates should have a PhD in a Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related field. Experience in the study of blood cell biology or DNA damage is desirable.
